Funding

The funding for the OP Infrastructures and Networks 2014-2020 is € 1,843,733,334 of which € 1,382,800,000 is provided by the European Regional Development Fund and € 460,933,334 by the National Revolving Fund. Due to the modification of the OP Infrastructures and Networks 2014-2020 budget – which took place in August 2021 in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic to swiftly activate the REACT- EU resources both to address the effects of the crisis and its social consequences and to prepare a green, digital and resilient recovery of the economy within the current programming period - the total financial allocation has been changed to 1.890.450.014 euro.

Following the assignment of addition resources by the REACT-EU program – for the support of works to reduce leakage along the water mains of southern Italy and expand the Local Public Transport systems – a further rescheduling took place in May 2022 that increased funding of the Programme to 2.234.450.014 euro. The rescheduling of January 2024 then incorporated a remodulation between the lines of action and the addition of a new axis, coherent with the provisions of EU Regulation n. 2023/435 (SAFE) to deal with the energy crisis deriving from the impact of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
